About the Night:
At Your Disposal, An Evening of Dance will present four original works by choreographers Anna Nicholls, Lizzy Tan, Stephanie Burrell & Kazimir Klein.
Patēr (πατὴρ) • Father
Choreographer: Anna Nicholls
Reflects on memories and explores testimony. Patēr, meaning Father, aims to honour Anna’s father, John, who passed in 2023.
Rodeo!
Choreographer: Lizzy Tan
Cast: Steph Burrell, Kazimir Klein, Lizzy Tan
Rodeo! is structured like a Texan rodeo itself - a carousel of scenes showcasing skill, endurance and showmanship.
Gregor
Choreographer: Stephanie Burrell
Cast: Tilly Woodward, Becky Banner, Valerie Schwane Torres, Elizabeth Huskisson
Music by Michael Mendones
Gregor is a live-directed experiment where containment & rebellion meet, continuing Burrell’s work for Michael Mendones’ film ‘Belonging’.

About the Artists:
Anna Nicholls is a London-based Performer, Facilitator, Movement Director and Choreographer. As Founder and Artistic Director of Hallomai Dance, Anna works with creative movement artists to provide interactive performances and workshops for all ages.
Lizzy Tan is a dance artist, movement director and critic based in London. Her solo and collaborative projects incorporate contemporary dance, performance art, installation and digital technologies, often working with ‘found material’ from online and personal archives. Lizzy’s work has been presented in the UK, US and Germany.
Steph Burrell is a conceptual artist that works across dance text and performance. She runs Wrote Your Own, an agency for Choreographers, Movement Directors & Dancers.
Kazimir Klein is a choreographer, dancer and producer based in London. She works across contemporary dance and direction, with a focus on identity and transformation.

DIY Nights are CDS’s performance programme created in the spirit of grassroots, low stakes performance making and sharing.
Anyone can apply to run a DIY Night, and CDS programmes them on a rolling basis for artists looking for a way to try out new ideas with low financial risk.
